Last of the years commissions.

What a year it's been!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and my work. The encouragement from everyone has been invaluable.
I've already started planning for next year, with commissions already placed, my first solo exhibition confirmed (dates to follow), open studio event in May, and I am taking part in more shows such as the Fife Show (waiting to hear back from others but will keep this site updated as I hear from them).

So here are the last of the years commissions:

Celtic Spirit (Babe)
Graphite Portrait
Absolutely stunning mare. I hope I've done her justice! The photos for this were taken in the snow and I like how this is reflected in her eyes.

Two Beautiful Black Labradors
Graphite Sketch
This was an A5 sketch. It was quite a challenge working on such a small scale but I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Moss
Graphite Portrait
This was the very last portrait of the year and what a great note to end on.

Taz
Charcoal Study
Taking photos of Taz was great fun - he's such a wee poser!

Busby
Charcoal Study
The stuff little girls dreams are made of! Busby had the most fantastic mane and the strong wind on the day of photographing him made him look absolutely magical.

I've already started making my New Year resolutions. Most of which are centered around my art.

1 -  I was advised to try '100 paintings in 100 days'. This is pretty self-explanatory but I've decided not to limit myself and will be including drawings too. The sizes, mediums, subject matter can be anything, depending on what attracts me on the day. I'll regularly post them up here (see my next resolution!)

2 - Regularly update the blog with recent works and upcoming events. I've been a little slack with updating the blog this year, but as part of my further commitment to my work I'm going to keep on top of it next year.

There are more, but these'll do for now!
Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for their support. This year really has been life changing for me.

Thank you!
